Sandy Cothron ( Knight ) - With over 22 years of experience, Sandy is a lifelong Tampa gal who graduated from Tampa Bay Tech's cosmetology program in high school. She is the definition of working hard to achieve your goal. Sandy hit the ground running, and after building her own book of business decided to open her own Salon in 2015. That's when The Shop Salon was born. Sandy takes pride in helping other stylists grow and reach their goals. Sandy's specialty is hair extensions and man is she fast! Buffie began her career as a stylist at Suncoast Academy of hair Design in Sarasota, Fl. Buffie has trained under Master Stylist from Paul Mitchell, Redken, and Vaughn. Continuing education is an important role for Buffie in understanding her clients up to date needs. Specializing in many services, such as men and women’s haircuts, highlights, and Keratin complex treatments. After 21 years in the industry, Buffie prides herself on her relationships and helping her clients’s feel their best.

Lori is originally a Texas gal who relocated to Tampa in 2002. She attended cosmetology school at the Odessa Cosmetology School in Midland, Texas and worked for Ray-Clark Salon in Texas before moving to Tampa. She specializes in haircuts, hair styles, highlights, and color. Lori is also a certified in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment by Coppola. Neftaly was born in Cuba but raised in Florida. She is a Master Stylist and specializes in various keratin smoothing treatments. She enjoys the unending creativity in extensions, multiple color techniques, cutting, perms, waxing, conditioning treatments on curly or straight hair. She is very passionate in up-dos and styling, whether its fir a wedding (in salon or on location), proms, gala's or just a special occasion. Vanessa is a professional master stylist at The Shop Salon. She is a Tampa native and received her cosmetology degree in 2008 at the AVEDA Institute. She absolutely loves what she does and considers hair to be her life. Vanessa enjoys making her clients look and feel their best. She specializes in all color, precision cutting, and curly hair. Vanessa is also trained in balayage, baby lights, ombre, color melts, and foils. Additional professional services include color corrections, extensions, keratin treatments, and on-location hair and make-up for weddings and photoshoots. Desiree grew up in the salon world as her parents owned and operated a salon in Carrollwood, Florida. We are grateful to have her on our team.
